Melanie joined our team in July 2024. In June 2021, Melanie left a career in Critical Care Nursing and was offered an opportunity to manage a special needs pet care facility. It was there that she realized her passion and purpose was in the world of pet care. Melanie has successfully combined both her experience in healthcare and managing a pet care facility caring for pets with a variety of both physical and behavioral special needs. Melanie's passion for pets is evident with each interaction. She is known for her patience with senior dogs and puppies. Outside of work, Melanie enjoys working with a variety of local pet rescues, hiking, and especially spending time with her beloved “Honey”! Melanie's personal motto is to treat each pet she encounters as her very own!
