Dr. Becca Raffel was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Raffel started her career in veterinary medicine in 2006 as a receptionist; she was also a technician prior to veterinary school. Dr. Raffel is a 2017 graduate from the DVM Program at Michigan State University; she joined the Thiensville-Mequon team in February 2018. Dr. Raffel is a strong supporter of the American Animal Hospital Association and serves on the Animal Welfare Committee for the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Raffel’s professional interests include surgery, anesthesia, and internal medicine as well as the mental health and wellbeing of veterinary professionals. During her free time, she enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, working out, gardening, playing volleyball, and traveling as much as possible. Dr. Raffel currently resides in the Milwaukee area with her two furry feline children, Eli and Arwen.
