Becca Raffel
Dr. Becca Raffel was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Raffel started her career in veterinary medicine in 2006 as a receptionist; she was also a technician prior to veterinary school. Dr. Raffel is a 2017 graduate from the DVM Program at Michigan State University; she joined the Thiensville-Mequon team in February 2018. Dr. Raffel is a strong supporter of the American Animal Hospital Association and is the Co-Chair of the Membership Audit and Control Committee. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association as well as the American Board of Veterinary Specialties for the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Raffel’s professional interests include wound healing and management, anesthesia, and internal medicine as well as the mental health and wellbeing of veterinary professionals. During her free time, she enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, working out, gardening, playing volleyball, and traveling as much as possible. Dr. Raffel currently resides in the Milwaukee area with her significant other and their three furry feline children, Eli, Tanner, and Rye; and their canine child Jack.
