Dr. Jenni Mitchell of Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic in Thiensville

Dr. Jenni Mitchell

Dr. Jenni Mitchell is a 2000 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She practiced in Wausau for her first two years out of veterinary school, then relocated to the north Milwaukee area to join Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic in 2002. Her areas of special interest are soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and feline medicine. Dr. Mitchell is married and has two sons, two cats, and a dog. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and organizing for her trivia team which participates in the world’s largest trivia contest each spring in Stevens Point, WI.

Dr.Christine Stencel of Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic in Thiensville

Dr. Christine Stencel

Dr. Stencel was born and raised in the Milwaukee area. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. She returned to the Milwaukee area following veterinary school and has been with the Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic since then. Dr. Stencel enjoys internal medicine and sees canine, feline, and occasional small mammal patients. She and her husband have two children, one cat, and one dog. In her free time she likes to travel, camp, hike, garden, and read science fiction.

Dr. Megan Brody of Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic in Thiensville

Dr. Megan Brody

Dr. Megan Brody was born and raised in Southeastern Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She enjoys general practice but is especially interested in surgery. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, friends, her cat Mitten, and dog Spud. She also participates and competes in various sports including running, triathlons, cross country skiing, and kickboxing. Dr. Brody also enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping.

Dr. Greta Grittinger of Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic

Dr. Greta Grittinger

Dr. Greta Grittinger is a native of Oostburg, WI. She graduated from Ripon College in 1996 and UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. After graduation she practiced in St. Paul, MN for three years and then in Pewaukee, WI for 12 years. The aspect of veterinary medicine Dr. Grittinger really enjoys getting to know her patients and their owners and providing the best care possible. She's married with 2 daughters, 1 cat, 1 slightly crazy dog, and 3 guinea pigs. In her spare time she enjoys sewing, hitting the gym, and attempting to control the chaos of an active family.

Dr. Raffel of Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic

Dr. Becca Raffel

Dr. Becca Raffel was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. In 2006, she earned a dual Master’s Degree (Marine Biology and Coastal Zone Management) at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and worked as a certified veterinary technician in the southeast WI area for 8 years. Dr Raffel is a 2017 graduate from the DVM Program at Michigan State University, and upon graduation, she practiced small animal medicine in the Waukesha area before joining the Thiensville-Mequon team in February 2018.

Dr. Raffel’s professional interests include surgery, anesthesia, and internal medicine. During her free time, she enjoys teaching and practicing yoga, working out, and playing volleyball as well as traveling as much as possible. Dr. Raffel currently resides in the Milwaukee area with her two furry feline children, Eli and Arwen.

Dr. Katrina Smolinski

Dr. Katrina Smolinski (a.k.a. Dr. Smo) is a 2007 graduate of Michigan State University. She practiced near her hometown in Saginaw, Michigan for two years before moving to Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Dr. Smolinski practiced in Hartford, WI for nine years until joining the Thiensville-Mequon Small Animal Clinic in 2018 after the birth of her son. Dr. Smolinski enjoys general practice/family medicine and watching her patients develop and progress from puppyhood/kittenhood to adulthood and on to becoming a senior. Dr. Smolinski also enjoys talking with owners to understand their needs and expectations and to help them take an active role in their pet’s health. In addition to her husband and son, Dr. Smolinski shares her home with her cats (Isis, Siris, and Victor) and her black lab/hound (Abby). In her free time, Dr. Smolinski enjoys being with her immediate and extended family and traveling as much as possible.
